Activities for School Age Children

  1. Air Cadets – Royal Canadian Air Cadets participate in a variety of fun and challenging activities.
  2. Army Cadets – Army Cadets develop skills in the use of map and compass and GPS Technology, orienteering, first air, camping and survival skills.
  3. Big Brothers Big Sisters – Facilitates life changes relationships that inspire and empower children and youth to reach their potential. Proves a variety of mentoring programs for children/youth in Langley.
  4. City of Langley Recreation, Culture and Community Services – Offers a variety of recreational programming and services for children.
  5. Fraser Valley Regional Library – Offers a variety of programs and services for children, including borrowing of library materials, book clubs and other activities.
  6. Girl Guides and Brownies – From Sports and camping to eco-design and fashion activities, guiding has something for everyone
  7. KidSport Langley – Provides financial support to children to remover financial barriers that stop children from taking part in organized sports.
  8. Langley Boys and Girls Club – Provides out of school programs during the school year and ay camp programs in the summer in Langley City.
  9. Program in the Park – A drop in program offered through the summer at various local parks. Children’s activities and parent support and information is offered.
  10. PuCKS – Inspiring and strengthening communities to offer children and youth opportunity that promote lifelong learning, wellness and education through hockey.
  11. Sea Cadets – Sea Cadets learn about the naval and maritime environment by participating in a variety of activities both on and off the water.
  12. Scouts Canada Fraser Valley – Scout programs train a new generation of youth to be leader, citizens and well-rounded individuals
  13. Township of Langley, Parks and Recreation – Offers a variety of recreational programming and services for children.
